Announcement from President Julie Stalker about ACT Team for Nationals

Note re Volunteers

We are seeking volunteers for the following roles at 2015 Australian Figure Skating Championships to be held at Penrith Ice Palace from 27th November to 4th December.

Please respond to Andrea Kemp if you are able to assist with any of the following roles.

  • Announcing – needed at both Official Practices (mornings 6am-11:30 approx) and All Events 12:30-9pm approx (you will be provided with a script etc)
  • Music Players – Please respond to
  • Gate Openers/Monitors for skaters to get on and off the ice.  Please respond to
  • Flower Retrievers  (Level Aussie Skate Freeskate 1-4  & Preliminary (and Chaperones).
  • Accreditation Desk / Merchandise desk – Please respond to

Volunteers are a very important and integral part of this event being successful.   WIthout volunteers, the event cannot run.

 

So please, even if you have never done any of the above roles before, let us know if there are any of the above roles you would like to do and when you are available.

 

Please note:  All volunteers should hold a Working With Children Card, or the equivalent, in their State, Territory, or Country.
